KENTWOOL Staff Player Bubba Watson Wins 2012 Masters
April 10th 2012 - Kentwool Staff Player Bubba Watson 'Rocks The Socks' En Route To Masters Glory

KENTWOOL - the 169-year-old, family-owned American textile innovator - reports that staff player Bubba Watson wore a limited-edition, classic green version of its Tour Profile performance golf sock en route to winning the 2012 Masters.

Relying on KENTWOOL's proprietary, fatigue-reducing blend of air-infused merino wool, Watson finished regulation tied for the lead at 10-under par. After halving the first hole of a sudden-death playoff, the long-hitting 33-year-old pulled his tee shot into the trees and seemed destined for a runner-up finish. Unfazed, he carved an astounding wedge shot that settled safely in the center of the green and allowed him to two-putt for victory.

"Bubba's an electric, self-taught player who took his game to a completely new level this week and boy was it fun to watch," says Mark Kent, CEO and President of KENTWOOL. "To have one of our guys, and someone who's such an outstanding person, win a dramatic Masters is certainly a high point for me personally, and for our growing business of making the world's best golf sock."
